We were hanging out with Moana and Junior tonight and they wanted to check out this Hawaiian style barbecue place near her house. She said that the family is from Hilo, Hawaii, the Big island and they wanted to open a restaurant here in Utah. Mo and Jr said the food was good and we need to try it. So we are here and I ordered shoyu ramen and Mika got teriyaki beef plate. And boy was they right. Good food that reminds me of home and the environment was nice and simple. If you like this kind of island grinds, check this place out in Lindon, Utah.
It's been a tough few days after Maikeli's passing and we are trying to get things done during this covid stricken world and handling the funeral arrangement. Mika's co-worker Zac brought him dinner from Texas Roadhouse and an envelope from of money from Adan , Ian and Zac. What a thoughtful gesture from his friends. The food was yummy and it was something that Mika needed, especially from his friends. Thank you Zac, Adan and Ian for your kindness and support for Mika at this rough time.
Trying to put together a lesson through Zoom is a bit annoying but I am getting through it. Not many of the kids join our class because the kids parents aren't active, so they sometimes dont answer our text when we send them the link to join us on Sundays. But hey to each is their own. So hopefully this week we will have a few more kids to join us and not be too bored with us as we teach the lesson.
Thank you for being the best of a father that you could be to my husband and your son, Mika. I know you will be greatly missed. I know Mika will miss receiving your father priesthood blessings and spiritual talks over the phone and in person. May God forever bless your family by your loving examples that you have share with many people. Til we meet again. Ofa lahi atu, Maikeli!
