I can't believe that Mika and I decided to work in the House of the Lord again. It's a few years since we work at the Salt Lake Temple, but man I am so excited to be an instrument for the Lord's work here on earth. What a wonderful time to serve in the temple but also receive a wonderful and powerful blessing by President Russell Nielson, a member of the Temple Presidency. I am thrilled to have the power and strength to do what the Lord needs me to do as an ordinance worker. May he continue to bless me throughout this spiritual journey.
Tonight Mika and I went to the Jordan River Temple to do endowments and we both were prompted by the spirit at two different moments to do something we thought we wouldn't do again. The session we wonderful and inspiring that as we got changed into our street clothes, we meet up in the waiting area and both said at the same time, we need to talk. We both kind of giggled when that happen and expressed what we felt during the Endowment session. I shared with Mika that during the session, I felt the urge to become an ordinance worker. Soon Mika said that he too felt the spirit prompting him that we both should be ordinance workers for the Jordan River Temple. A moment of a spiritual "Aha!" was both expressed right at that moment. So we went to the office and asked the worker what is the process of becoming an ordinance worker. Her eyes lit up and she handed us 2 forms to fill out and return it to her. We both happily agrees and began filling up the forms. The days of available opening for Mika would be Fridays since all the other times where earlier in the day and in the middle of the week. We both agreed to Friday's around the 1-6pm shift. He handed back the forms to the worker and she informed us that they will call us when to come in for an interview with the Temple President. I was so excited inside I couldn't wait to here back from them. Mika and I left the Temple feeling great and excited to work in the House of the Lord again. I would love to work at the Salt Lake City Temple but it is under renovations until 2024. But it is ok, working in any Temple of God would be great. Now we wait until we get that call and see if we will work at the Jordan River Temple. Praying hard right now. I will keep you posted.
It is a wonderful cool morning to enjoy watching General Conference and do some indexing while I listen to the messages. Mika is still sleeping so I am not going to bother him. We both knew this weekend is conference but to each is his own, right? Anyways I'm going to go back into indexing since there is a break til the next session. Have a splendid weekend everyone!
