This hymn message stood out to me during preparation meeting. It is found on page 82, 14, and 131 of the hymn book.
For All the Saints (#82)
For all the Saints who from their labors rest,
Who thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy name, O Jesus, be forever blest.
Alleluia, Alleluia.
Oh, may thy soldiers, faithful, true, and bold,
Fight as the Saints who nobly fought of old,
And win with them the victor’s crown of gold.
Alleluia, Alleluia.
Thou art our rock, our fortress, and our might;
Thou, Lord, our captain in the well-fought fight;
Thou, in the darkness drear, our one true light.
Alleluia, Alleluia.
And when the strife is fierce, the warfare long,
Steals on the ear the distant triumph song,
And hearts are brave again, and arms are strong.
Alleluia, Alleluia.
From earth’s wide bounds, from ocean’s farthest coast,
Through gates of pearl streams in the countless host,
Singing to Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Alleluia, Alleluia.
Sweet is the Peace the Gospel brings (#14)
Sweet is the peace the gospel brings
To seeking minds and true.
With light refulgent on its wings,
It clears the human view.
Its laws and precepts are divine
And show a Father’s care.
Transcendent love and mercy shine
In each injunction there.
Faithless tradition flees its pow’r,
And unbelief gives way.
The gloomy clouds, which used to low’r,
Submit to reason’s sway.
May we who know the sacred Name
From every sin depart.
Then will the Spirit’s constant flame
Preserve us pure in heart.
Ere long the tempter’s power will cease,
And sin no more annoy,
No wrangling sects disturb our peace,
Or mar our heartfelt joy.
That which we have in part received
Will be in part no more,
For he in whom we all believe
To us will all restore.
In patience, then, let us possess
Our souls till he appear.
On to our mark of calling press;
Redemption draweth near.
More Holiness Gives Me (#131)
More holiness give me,
More strivings within,
More patience in suff’ring,
More sorrow for sin,
More faith in my Savior,
More sense of his care,
More joy in his service,
More purpose in prayer.
More gratitude give me,
More trust in the Lord,
More pride in his glory,
More hope in his word,
More tears for his sorrows,
More pain at his grief,
More meekness in trial,
More praise for relief.
More purity give me,
More strength to o’ercome,
More freedom from earth-stains,
More longing for home.
More fit for the kingdom,
More used would I be,
More blessed and holy—
More, Savior, like thee.
Felt inspired to read the scriptures to hear from the Lord and this is what he lead me to read.

Maikeli, it's Uncle Mika. Man you got me crying over here just when you shared the story of Grandma Salote. I felt the spirit so strong and it testified to me that she was there with you. You're standing on the grounds that our ancestors stood and without them you wouldn't be here. It's such a blessing to know that without the faith they had on those islands and coming from such humble beginnings we are able to be blessed where we are in America. Being there truly puts it all into perspective. I hope you get the chance to go to Va'vau so you can see the birthplace of your grandpa. Your grandpa is with you and loves you very much, keep on moving Maikeli, and walk with faith. Trust in the Lord and then stand back and watch the miracles!!!
Love you Nephew! Si' oto Ofa!
FAM,
Each week I be fighting demons to write these emails because writing emails ain't it. If anything, I wouldn't even be updating anybody till I come back home. 🤣🤣🤣
Anyways, this past week was good. The good work continues and we were able to baptize another one of our friends. 😊 His name is Chawela and he is a good friend to one of the YSA members in our ward, Cephas. Cephas was able to baptize Chawela and it was a great day. Tbh, I thought Chawela was one of the most unserious dudes ever because this dude would always be laughing everytime we taught him which pissed me off and I was ready to drop him ☠️ However, the Lord's will for His children who are desirous to make covenants with him, will always happen in His timing. 🙏🏽 Chawela got serious over time and it's truly a blessing to see our friends get, and want to be, baptized.
Anyways, love yall fam. Mission is good, life is good, and God is always good. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who because of His Atonement and love for us, helps us to become as perfect and good as we can be in this life. Keep reading the Book of Mormon everyday and ministering to others. Yeah fa. ❤️
Polaroid pic we took of us with Chawela (next to me) and Cephas (next to Sister Katoa). They were like, "Sisters, do you even love us?! You can't even see us." 🥲☠️🤣🤣
Chawela in the middle and Cephas next to Sister Katoa. Prosper (who is next to me) is one of our other YSA ward members. He is powerful. They are all powerful 🙏🏽
One of our other ward YSA members, A-A-RON. 😂 Our members are so cool 😎 Lots of our YSA are the only members in their families, and are the most committed, dedicated members. They're such great examples to me.❤️
Zambia's statue representing their past and their journey to independence? I think that's what the person said...I can't remember. But it was a cool statue.
Zone Conference Tingz 😁
Me & my companion eating at our family's restaurant because apparently everybody and they mama think we Chinese 💀🤣🤣
Libala Zone eskeditttt 🤟🏽
Malolelei kainga ofeina! Mou fefe hake? The past 2 weeks have been really busy. Busy out here means really good so yea great past 2 weeks. So much I could write about but I'm gonna try and keep it short! These past couple weeks me and Aiono have been fasting praying with all our might to get just one person baptized on this island. This past weekend was a huge answer to our prayers and one of the times I've felt the Lord so closely in hearing my prayers. Our members had told us its been over four years since the missionaries have had a baptism here in Felemea. Last week we fasted that one of the people we've taught before would be baptized. I had faith the Lord would provide one to come to the gate of baptism. We not only found one that accepted the invatation to be baptized but two people!! One in both Villages Uiha and Felemea!! This was more than just an answer to our prayers but a huge blessing. Saturday we had a beautiful baptism for a boy named Una in Felemea. I havent had a baptism since my first area and this was Elder Aionos first on the mission. Sunday during our ward conference I had the opportunity to confirm Una a member and give him the Holy Ghost. I truly have never felt the spirit stronger. My words were all guided from the Holy Ghost. After we had a big feast and maan some of the best food I've had on the mission 🤤.
