Although its sooo hot and Humid, I can't feel it when I am focused on my purpose!

This last transfer, the 5th week definitely was a learning experience. This was my first week where we for all 0s for our key indicators. And yes are in need of improvement and It's really about trying new things to get new results. That's what Ive really learned. Elder Duque are getting better, although its rough sometimes dealing with his impatience sometimes, its teaching me patience for my future wife haha. One miracle I received is just again the comfort I receive as i teach the lessons or just share my testimony, I am so happy for the Holy Ghost to always help when i am down!

Buit, I am doing good, here is a letter that describes my week 

This finish to this transfer has been great, I feel that Elder Newswander and Cabungcag they are awesome... I got to really know Elder Newswander he is really an awesome guy! He is from Logan Utah, 19 years old, and has been a good example to me of what kind of person I want to be. They will do great things here in Cogeo as I depart tommorow in Quezon City zone. I know the Lord need me there for a reason. My miracle report for this week will actually be a reflection of my 4 transfers here in Cogeo all of the people Ive met, all of the fun experiences I had with my district and zone, all of the food I tried for the first time in the philippines, and getting an experience firsthand of how the cultrure is. I'm actually getting emotional thinking about and as I write this letter to you! I am definately going to miss Cogeo, but I need to step out of my comfort zone, move on, and look foward to more experiences to come with a perfect brightness of hope.

Its Been a week! 

New Companion, New apartment, New Adventures

 Its  been a good week I'm still alive , lol , but I Am Having a time of learning definitely out here! 

Well sorry for the short letter! But I love you all! 

This week was cool, we're working hard to get more baptisms and working close with the ward!

BUT Sometimes it gets hard I'll be honest, imagine being in a country where NO ONE Speaks your Language! Its hard sometimes, but I know the Lord prepared a way for me to be here and I wont turn back now! I Love all of the people here and I wont give up! 

I know this is a short letter, but just remember the lord will Never Forget you WHOEVER you are.

Also working with Elder Gamolo has been a blessing he truly knows how to work effectively and he is such a great teacher to me and I have been learning a lot from him. Now we are just in the process of getting the ward to really help us in our efforts with getting referrals so we can have stronger ward support. It is such a miracle to see that when we change the way we do things for the better, more better results occur!

But yes, that's whats going on over here in the Missionary work I'm involved in. Other than that, yes there are some times I feel I am on top of the world over here, and then there are times where I am like Why did the lord want me to be here.... but The Lord always hears my silent prayers I'm telling you. He always comforts me when times I feel inadequate, I think of the scripture 

Oh my how time flies when life hits you with so much things. But I just want to share my love and a birthday shout out to my oh so funny, swagger dude, bars like no other, responsible nephew Moses. you were the cutest little kid I've met living in Hawaii. After dating your uncle and getting to know the family, you would always remind me of your uncle Mika, because you are so adorable and you looked like him. Even my mom would call you "little Mika" because you two looked alike. I'm truly grateful to have known you throughout your life and I can honestly say, you have grown up to be a sharp and smart young man. Don't ever change that sweet and gentle spirit that you have. Be strong and true in the gospel always. I just can't believe you're a MAN now!! May you always have a splendid and spontaneous life. Go out into the world and be amazing in all that you do! Enjoy your day with family and friends. Hppy Birthday Mosey!

I am doing great I am blessed to get to serve with Elder Gamolo on this new January 23rd Transfer (its now January 28th as I write you), Astig siya talaga, He is from Mindanau (Southern Philippines, and they speak Tagalog, Cebuano and Visayas over there, so I always pick his brain so I can learn more Filipino languages! (Yeahh now I know a little Visaya) Kamusta imong adlaw? (Hows your day in Visaya) We are gonna rock this transfer I can feel it. But, this week a miracle is that we have a BAPTISM on Wednesday!!!! YAHHH, I'm so excited!  It Took alot of work on past companionship's , but with diligence, Jennifer and Ricardo will get to experience the sweet spirit of the Holy Ghost continually! That is pretty much it for this week, with the Lord miracles truly do happen!

But other than that. Stay Awesome, and Remember Christ even when Times get hard! 

and Remember, my invitation to you all this week, REMEMBER To Minister! If it be the people you were assigned to at church, or anyone, it doesn't matter, one thing I realized is that when people don't step outside of themselves to help people suffer around us that are in need of our help!

Its great to be here out on the Mission, I am learning so fast Tagalog, different view points and especially how Jesus Christ and God are so important in our lives! 

Cogeo Antipollo is the best zone ever too, heres some pictures of what happened this week and the type of traffic I see everyday its amazing lol. But remember wherever you are, if you love the people and yourself, you will be just fine! 

This transfer I will be getting a new companion, Elder Dean was awesome!

As I step back and view life in an eternal perspective, I am so so happy. This Christmas even though it was a little hard to be away from you guys, I still was very happy, and I ask myself, Why is that? I told that to my Mission President about how I missed my family, yet I managed to still feel incredible joy, and he replied... Because it does not matter where you are, it is really about what we are doing to serve the Lord.... Yes, I still have trials, pain, sorrow, and disapointment at times, we all do, I am not saying I am perfect, But I have been feeling so incredible here, and I realize its because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I give credit to Him. ! :)

Its been a cool week, the work is moving fast and we keep on going!!! 

It's been cool b\c there is a person we taught and we asked him to pray to know if the message was true, and he said I already feel it's true! Like Whattt?! hahah  pero, we need to get him to Magsisimba! (Go to church) Well anyway its been good here mom, dont sweat it! I Love you Always and all of you, be excited! it's Holiday season!

And Also My companion and I got to be volunteers for the Giving machine is Mega Mall, Quezon City by the Araneta Center!

A cool experience that happened is that we invited John Carlo, a person we found on the street, 21 years old, and the 3rd time visiting him we asked him to read the Book of Mormon.... When we came back the Fourth visit we asked "how did your book of Mormon reading go?, and he replied " Oh Konti lang (or a little) Nagbasa ako hanggang chapter 10 of 1st Nephi"   We were so surprised! Like, that's a lot of reading ! haha Well, Please pray for him, as well as many others we teach in all aspects of their life, life can be 

sobrang mahirap (very hard) sa philippinas!

We are just getting new people to teach each week! The Lord truly does have people ready for the Gospel!

But other than that, it's been great, weeks are flying by, and I feel like the Mission will ! But If theres one thing Iv'e learned this week is to be grateful for the Moment, and Trust in the Lord :) Well and be hopeful for the Future!

I feel great now the first week was the hardest just adapting and holy cow I've never gone through something that hard ever in my life... But one thing my mission Presidents wife said was that the Mission field is the MTC to Life... and that's so true... Like I thought I was Independent over there in AZ, but no no, it's a whole other ball game over here, and just living with a companion... But like that scripture says..."These experiences shall be for our good" Well, only 22 Months left, (I cant believe already 2 months have gone starting today! It's going to fly, but I want to make every moment count:) Love you all! Mahal ako ng inyong lahat! (I Love you all!)   But It's so fun to be here in Cogeo! here some Pics of the place!
