My sister Juanita came to visit me this morning since she had to drop off her 2 youngest fur babies at the vet. Since she had hours to kill, she thought to come and wake me up to have breakfast and hang out down town Salt Lake City. We ate breakfast at Kneaders which was delicious. After that we got a few accessories for our cell phones (pop sockers and wires) than we headed out to Temple Square to visit the Joseph Smith Building where the #LightTheWorld vending machines. These awesome vending machines have items where you can donate food, materials, shelter, water and much more to people all around the world who are in need. My sister and I bought a few things to donate to people who are in need. I bought 1 goat, 2 bag full of essential goodies, first aid kits and food for Utah Food bank. Juanita bought 2 chickens, health care essentials and waters. It was the greatest feeling to give and help those in need. After that we had a snack at the Nauvoo Cafe and it was yummy. This is one of the most memorable moments I had with my sister Juanita and I hope to create more lasting fun memories with her. I hope everyone of you will donate your time, talents and efforts to help people in need and bring joy everywhere you are! Happy Holidays and Happy giving!

It was a beautiful experience to behold with live music from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square. There were wonderful talks from President Uchtdorf, the 2nd counselor of the Primary Presidency and one of the Seventy. Messages of Jesus Christ, Giving, service, forgiveness and over coming adversity of loneliness and depression. You can watch the devotional online at www.lds.org and the YouTube channel Mormon Channel. I had a wonderful time with my sister Juanita, my brother Henry and my husband Mika. A wonderful way to start the Christmas season with family. One of my cherish moments with them this year! Happy holidays everyone!!

I want to with my sister Jenny a Happy Birthday!! I know that life hast always been groovy for you, but through it all you became an amazing woman with beautiful kids. Thank you for always being welcoming towards Mika and I. But mainly, always letting your children be a part of our lives. May the Lord forever bless you, guide you, protect you and strengthen you throughout your life. Have a fabulous day where ever you go or do!

Jay
Finding something to eat is not really an easy thing to do especially if youre with a group. For me i was hanging out with my family today and after a long day at the mall we wanted to eat something nice and yummy. My husband Mika checked online to see whats near by and he found this new place called Sushi Stix. It was right across the street from the South Town Mall where we were. The location was simple and nice. A good vibe and calming modern style asian influence style. Thats the best way I can describe it. We were greeted by a friendly Asian woman who told us what is the customer favorite sushis and other dishes. We all looked through he menu to see what seems good to us. The price is high or average to the typical sushi eater, so we decided to share a few sushi rolls to see what we like. We ordered the Dragon roll, tiger roll, mars roll, mr. myagi roll and a bowl of udon noodles. The waitress really helped us to know whats good on their menu and she really liked us that she even gave us pot stickers for free. She was really nice to do that for us. We hung out for a bit as we waited for our food. Once it came it looked and tasted delicious. My favorite was Mr. Myagi roll. It taste like poké was on top of some yummy rice. each sushi was yummy and lightly flavored, which was nice. I'm not a fan of overly saturated sushi with its creams and sauces. We did enjoy this place and vibes. If youre in the area, you should stop on my and help support a new sushi joint in Sandy Utah.

It was nice to hang out with my siblings this weekend at the South Town Mall Harry Potter Christmas Wizarding World experience. Even though the line was long it was fun to be with my sister Juanita chatting about everything and anything as we waited. After about 45 minutes we finally went through the entrance of the Harry Potter Alley and headed to Olivanders to pick a want for my sister. This time at Olivander's we got to experience a little show from Olivander's assistant about the different wands and what magic it did. it was a fun little show. My sister has chosen Quinnie Goldstein wand. She was the sister of Porentina Goldstein from Fantastic Beasts. The wand has a pearl shell and wood like handle. Its so pretty. We walked around the little display of Harry Potter merchandise after getting a wand. We even talked with one of the helpers who was giving any guest an simple educational info about every wand they have. It was cool to hear more stories about every wand and who owned it. After our short visit, we checked out and to my surprise my sister bought me Bellatrix Lestrange wand. It came in a big box which I thought it was a little strange and odd for a wand. So Mika wanted to take a peek of my new huge box and we all found out why it was in it. The wand also came with a wand stand with a little plaque that has the name Bellatrix Lestrange and a Death Eater mask. It was awesome to behold what we found. Now my new wand and holder is display next to Serius Black wand on our fireplace. I'm a happy Hogwarts alumni to display my dark side wands. What a fantastic day I had with my family and it continues as we hang out together tonight until tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Talk to y'all soon!
Okay when I first got this tea I wasn't sure what to do or what I'll think about it. So I made the attempt to make me a nice cup of tea for myself. Reading the direction was easy and simple to follow. The only thing that I was a bit confuse was whisking it to make it foamy. I was following what it said but it wasn't foaming. Than I went on Youtube to see why it's not foaming...than it came to me as I watched the video, uh duh JayLynn you need a bamboo matcha tea style whisk. hehehehehe I couldn't stop laughing when I finally figured that one out. I didn't have one and the asian store near me was already closed, so I improvised. I just used my regular small whisk and worked my magic. It sort of worked but I just did my best. I taste it first without any sugar or cream and it was strong. The herbs and earthy vibe was nice and soothing to the taste. It smells nice too. When I added a little bit of sugar and creamer it was perfect for me. I know that some people would frown on me for adding those typical elements in the tea, but I needed it cause the earthy taste was a bit much. Overall it was nice and silky. If you like to try different styles of tea, this tea is for you. It came with 12 individual packs in a bottle, so you'll always have the right amount of Matcha in your tea. that's my little review but I would try it more to give more in depth review later.
To my sistah from another mistah...lol Happy Birthday Brooke!
I'm so happy to have known you throughout the years. Even though life took us to different paths, but some how we found each other again and its been nice. I hope we could see each other more and hang out like the good ole days...uh well not too much like the good ole days!?! You've come a long way and now your a mother of 3 beautiful babies! May the Lord continue to bless your life and your little family too! I'm glad we stayed good friends since middle school!
Luv ya cuz!
