Family came out to support Mika on this spiritual day.
Today was a monumental moment for Mika. While we were at his family retreat at the cabins, our stake secretary called him to schedule a appointment to meet with the stake president. After the retreat, literally that day we got back they wanted to meet that evening. Even though we were tired from this past weekend, Mika went straight to the stake office. I however went to sleep after unpacking but got awaken from a missed called from Mika. I called back and that where I heard the news to his new important calling. This is a spiritual blessing that both Mika and myself will forever be thankful for. Even though I know it will be tough, but it will be worth it. Thank you Lord for this moment for both Mika and myself to serve the people in the Midvale 14th ward. Mika will be great, I know because he was born and have been ready to do wonderful things for God's children. Thank you to all who came to support him as he was called, sustained and blessed to be a High Priest. Much love to you all!
After all the drama Mika and I had to deal with at the Cabin, getting sick was not what I wanted, but when the lack of sleep happens, you got to do what you got to do. Recuperate myself and shut myself away from any relatives, friend or foe. It is so good to be back home...peace and quite.
My nephew, Moses started his own clothing line and needed pro looking photos to be posted on instagram. I helped him out since he asked kindly during our family reunion. Got some of his boy cousins and we got a lot of cool shots. I so proud of him in stepping us in the world with his own way of living creatively in fashion. Good luck Mosey!

Mika's family hosted a cabin family reunion in south east Utah. Everyone had a wonderful time and planned to have another one maybe next year.

I was honored to take this lovely but shy young lady's senior photos. Even though it was a last minute call, I wouldn't have turn it down. I know this girl since she was 3 years old and she has always been a sweetheart. I'm so glad we had a fun time taking photos like a boss. Thank Lizzie for being an amazing model!
