Even though I had to work at Google Fiber today, but that didn't stop the fact that my Dad is here and every moment with him is precious. So he made breakfast this morning and it was yummy. You can't go wrong eating fried eggs, bacon and toast before you go to work. My Dad is awesome and I'm glad to have him in my life. Nita headed to her first job and dad took me to work. We took the same route that I usually use to get the free parking just 2 blocks away from work. My dad would always scout out the area and use landmarks to remember where he is or had been. As he walked with me to work, we were planning things to do for the rest of the week, which is my favorite part of spending time with my dad. He wanted to walk around downtown provo while I work. My dad likes to make an adventure where ever he is. So on my lunch break he came back from walking to the Provo City Center Mall and we enjoyed a good Mexican restaurant near my work and talked about our day. We got the special of the day which is 2 Cholito tacos beans and rice. I went back to work and did my best to get my work done and assisted with anyone who needed help. It was a good day at work and also my last day at Google Fiber. My friends I made at work were sad that I was leaving but I know its not the end. The Lord will guide me to a good job to help me and my family out but to also see my new friends again. I'm no too worried. My dad came just in time to pick me up since he went to do more shopping near my sisters place. We walked back to the car and he showed me his shopping that he got for me, nita and henry. Tons of MRE's and things for our 72hr kits, a sleeping cot and drinks for the next few nights that he will be staying here. We arrived back at my sisters apartment and unload the shopping to prepare for dinner. Since my dad loves to cook, I usually watch and observe what he does so that in the near future I could make the same thing. He made some bar-b-q ribs and pork sandwiches. It was so yummy and delicious. After a good dinner, we hanged out at my sisters place and talked stories with my dad until the we went to the movies with Henry and Mika. We watched Dark Tower and it was pretty good for a sci-fi action movie. It was a fun little family movie night. Pretty much we just enjoyed our time we have with Dad. I know I do. Well tomorrow is another adventure, until then, Good night!

Hello! Another great week here in Nevada!

The past few days have been record heat tempertures! Yesterday it was 102 degrees! We about died as we were tracting haha but we survived! Earlier this week there were a few fires that broke out due the lightning. One of them was close to our house which was kinda scary. Luckily no homes were effected. The fire just burned a bunch of land which was a miracle. We came home smelling like campfire haha but yeah I was suprised to see how many fires occur in Nevada. It's a big problem out here.

I finally got my bike! I love it! It came just in time! Our mission president wants us on bikes for the next couple of months. I haven't used it yet but we will be biking a lot starting tomorrow! haha yeah Im not too excited about it tho especially cuz Ill be in a skirt! haha but I will be getting really fit haha there are a lot of hills over here. haha

There have been so many miracles that had happened this week! I bought a journal specifically for miracles that I've seen! So we were about to knock on a door when I accidentally drop the phone. (flip phone haha) The back of the phone broke off and the battery flew out. And then there was this dog and it ran up and got a hold of the battery hahaha so me and my companion are trying to get the battery out of the dogs mouth...It was quite a struggle lol but we ended up getting it back. It was all dented and filled with slobber. We tried to clean it off the best we could and we put it back in the phone. It didn't turn on. We said a prayer for the phone to work and we tried again. and It worked!

So as we were walking I felt prompted to got to this house. We found a woman who was mowing her lawn. Her name is Billie Jo. We asked her if she needed help..She said she would need help cleaning. She has a lot of back pains but she is the only one in her home who can do things around the house. So we just helped her clean and stuff. She kept thanking us. We scheduled a time to come back to share a message with her! She said it was wierd that her dog wasn't attacking us. She told us that a Jehovah witness came over and her dog attacked her! haha so that was a miracle.

There are so many more miracles but not enough time to write them! But anyways...I have learned a lot about myself being here. I've also learned the importance of the Holy Spirit. Without him you are nothing! Ive kinda learned how to recognize the Spirit. He speaks through our thoughts and feelings. The problem for me is having the courage to do them! haha I try not to let fear get to me. Because fear comes from satan! But Im still working on it haha.

I love the time that I get to study in the scriptures,,1 hour of personal study time is not enough! Right now I am reading in 1st Nephi and I started to read the New Testament. Its wierd not to have any technology...all we have is books! haha but anyways...I have to get going now..but I love and miss you all!

Sister T

Dad and I stoped at my sister Juanita's place in Orem since I'm working at Google fiber in Provo this week but she wasn't home. So my dad finally saw how her place is and where her priorities lies. Let's just say that he wasn't too happy to see how my sister lives and act. But that's another story for another time. Since she wasn't home to be surprise by his visit we headed to Salt Lake City to visit my brother Henry. What a surprise he got when I told him that my Dad send a box to my sisters place and had a few goodies for him that I'll be bringing down. We've arrived at my brothers apartment and I greeted him at the door and talked with him for a few moments before I asked him to help me get his goodies from the car. As he came out of his place to help me, just around the corner was my Dad waiting to surprise him. Henry came around the corner of his apartment hallway and was shocked to see my Dad that he started crying and hugged my Dad so tight for a few minutes. It was a touching and emotional moment for us as a family. We hung out at his place for a good 45 minutes talking and catching up with Henry and his life with my dad. We gave him his goodies from Hawaii especially Chocolate Chantilly Cream puffs from Liliha Bakery in Honolulu. They're so yummy I can eat a dozen of those in one sitting. heheh Soon we went to Walmart to get a few things for my dad and went to iHop to eat lunch. Lunch was good and we just talked about so much things and updates about things in Hawaii. I couldn't believe that my dad is here and that he's sitting next to me. Within the past few hours, I had to poke my dad's arm just to make sure I'm not dreaming. He would look at me and said "Snow White I'm really here, why do you always poke me whenever I come to visit you?" Even though I know he gets a kick out of me being like that but it's funny to just hear him say that to me. Hanging out together was a joy and mainly funny. We were a bit loud laughing and joking about so many things that is soon came to an end since it was getting late and I wanted my dad to rest up since he drove straight from Las Vegas which he flew in the night before. So jet lag was kicking in for me. We said our good byes to my brother until we see him again on the weekend before dad leaves. Next my Dad and I headed back to Orem to Nita's place to get my dad settle in and relax till dinner time. We cleaned up her place since the essence of her dog's dander and hair was everywhere, I didn't wanted my dad to sleep in a dirty place. He wasn't too happy about that but we were able to get it as clean as we can and rested for a bit until my sister showed up. She was happy to see him but her was slightly annoyed that she was here when she said she. We talked stories and snack on some goodies out in the balcony which had a nice view of the Provo mountain and the city of Orem. Soon we took a nice walk to the store to grab a few things for dinner, since my dad loves to cook. Every time he visits us he would always make dinner or some yummy breakfast. It was a fun walk to the store and back to nita's place. The inversion was really bad in Utah County that my Dad and I was feeling the effects it had on our breathing. I had a double whammy on the effects of my sisters dog's dander and hairs plus the inversion of the air quality in Orem. So I was a walking swollen hippo!?! lol Well my dad made a yummy meal for us. Home made soup to help us with our allergies and eat something hardy. It's so nice to have a good home cooked meal from my dad and to relax knowing that I didn't have to cook. I'm so happy to have my dad here. Honestly I don't care if I sound like a broken record but I really missed him that my heart is filled with joy. Anyways, its time to spend more time with him because its the most important part in my life. Time is precious and I cherish it more than anyone could imagine. Good night everyone!
