JayLynn E. Loves

It's been quite some time that I've written to someone on paper. Everything is basically all electronic. Emailing, phone calls, video chat, payments through your mobile phone, online shopping and etc. So for me it started to become more foreign to write a note or a letter. But I manage to get back into the whole writing in script or just writing anything down on paper.

Now that my niece is on her mission, a thought came into my head to write to her. For a moment I thought that was stupid because majority of the family is emailing her so she can get it faster. But that thought just kept on bugging me to literally write to her. That thought came to me after I went to the Salt Lake Temple to do Initiatory. As I walked through Temple Square, heading towards City Creek, the thought came to me again. "Write to Nadira through post cards!". I was so confused at first but I thought to myself as I was walking, "Why do I need to write to her through post cards? I think she will be fine without my silly cards." I smiled and continued walking towards the mall and that's when I came to a halt from the stop lights. I looked up and saw Deseret Books on the left side of where I was standing. That's when that same thought came to me a third time imprinting into my mind and soul. "Go inside Deseret Books, there you will find what you are looking for." Again I was thinking to myself geez the Holy Spirit is really adamant about me writing to my niece. I crossed the street and went into Deseret Books. Nothing was gravitating to me so I just walk through the whole store, window shopping. I soon bought some garments and walked through the aisles where there are photos and books. Suddenly a book fell off the shelf and I was like what the heck?!? How did that book just fall all of a sudden right next to my feet, I wasn't scared just startled, I eventually picked up the book to put it back to where I assume it was supposed to be and thats when I saw a booklet of LDS Temples post cards. My mind was blank and quiet throughout the entire time I was in the store, than suddenly I felt peace and then a thought came to me. "Use this to write to Nadira, not your words but my words." And as that thought spoke to me, my mind was open to a visual image of me writing scripture verses on the post card with her name, mailing address and my name with my address. That's it! Nothing else on the card but what I just saw. I was completely amazed of what I saw and heard. At that moment I didn't resist or think anything else about what I envisioned. I just follow and listen to that prompting and bought the booklet of post cards. This is like a rare thing for me to experience on the daily. But it didn't bother me as much as it would for someone else. Crazy just to think about it. Now I had this experience happen to me just 2 days ago and I just finished writing the last scripture passage on the post card that I will be sending to her monthly. This is not going to stop me from writing to her through email. Oh no! I'm still going to do that, but I felt that the Lord wanted me to send unexpected spiritual message from scripture verses through the mail for Sister Tupuola. I don't know what the Lord knows about the future for my niece, but I do believe that those scripture passages will somehow help Nadira throughout her mission for the next 18 months.
Whatever it may be, I hope all will be well and I'm glad that I listened.

To my niece Nadira, I hope that you are doing well in your new area. It may seem a bit interesting and strange. But this I do know is that you're important for whatever reason it may be. The Lord needs your experiences, your thoughts, your wisdom, your talents, your patience and your light in helping His children that are lost in some sort of way that maybe, just maybe you are the key to unlock the door to their soul or their heart that it may open a way for the Holy Spirit to inspire them to hear the message that was meant for them. Who knows what it could be. Just do your best to feel and hear the Holy Spirit inspire you to do what the Lord needs you to do. Be safe and enjoy your time getting to know your area and the people. They will be amongst your best friends. Talk to you soon.

Love ya.

I'm so glad to hear that my niece Sister Tupuola made it safely to her new and first are in Spring Creek, NV. She didn't have to use a bike to go tracking the neighborhood because the homes are spread far apart. So thank goodness to that! Other than that she is doing well and keeping strong as she starts her missionary journey in Spring Creek. I'm excited to hear from her through email and hope she's getting enough rest throughout the week. We love and miss you Nadira! ttyl

This was my second attempt to use this palette and it went far better than the first time I've tried it. I'm not a professional makeup artist, just a regular woman getting into makeup for my own learning purposes. There was a few minor issues this time around with the eye shadows but it didn't make me hate the palette. Some of the matte shades I probably won't use as much but I hope that Anastasia Beverly Hills will either redo this palette or fix the extreme fallout and unbendable formula. But no one knows if that is ever going to happen. I did personally email their customer care service about the issues I was having and I wasn't happy about it at but no response. I kind of figured since its been a hot ugly topic online. Hopefully all will be well and they get back to me. Other than that it was a good second try and I hope to try other looks with this palette.

I've used this Brand for years and when they made more scents I was excited to give it a try. There are a few of their skin care products that made it on my Top 5 items that I've used daily and love.
As you can tell this is all about their Body wash. This is not your typical body wash product. It's really moisturizing during and after the wash. Haven't notice any bad dryness on my skin with this product but I did notice that the hydration from the body wash did last long I would say about a good 8 hours. Adding a little bit of product on your loofa will go along way. I usually just squeeze lightly with one pump and I'm good. Lathering it up on the loofa with the small amount of product will extend your wash time. I did enjoy that extra time in the shower. lol
Depending on the scent, some of fragrance  could be more stronger  than others. So just a heads up. Other than that, I really do enjoy this product. I'm a fan for life and I honestly recommend this to anyone who hasn't tried it or wants to. Not everyone is going to like or agree with my thoughts on some product that I may review, but I do honestly respect their opinions as long as they respect mines.
This is my honest opinion and I stand by it 100%. I'm not sponsored by this Brand nor am I getting paid by anyone affiliated by this Brand.
Writing a review on certain product isn't my forte but I'm willing to express my thoughts if I'm given the chance to.
Here they are enjoy! Sorry I guess it wan't let me download the video... Maybe next time!

Sister Tupuola looks very happy yet to be on her mission but this is just the beginning. lol Well I'm glad that someone who is in the area sent these photos to my sister Jenny. Letting her know that they have seen Nadira and wanted her to see her daughter going about the Lord's work with energy and determination. Sister Tupuola was in a different are in Nevada for a missionary training about the area and what they need to be aware of. I'm happy to see these photos and knowing she's doing well. Good luck Sister Nadira Tupuola and may the Lord guide you always!

A man of little words but who loves unconditionally and will protect with all his might for those he cares for. My Dad turns 61 today. I never thought that I would be seeing this number any time soon but it's here and I got to make the best of it. Last year was the big 60 and I'm still trying to fathom it.
It's crazy to see this hardcore, hard working, workaholic, military man turn wiser with those gray hairs! lol Naw I'm just kidding, but truly it's amazing to witness my Dad at this stage being in his 60's. To me he will always be that 40 year old guy who feel in love with my Mom!
But what I'm meaning to say is that I'm forever grateful to this amazing man. He sacrificed so much for me and my family. Till this day, I sometimes wonder why he even stayed? He never married my mom, we aren't his blood children, yet he's still here. I've asked my Dad why? Why be involve in our lives? And he would always say, I made a promise to Mom that I wouldn't leave you kids, even if she remarries, because I love and care for you kids as my own. Wow! What a genuine man! How can you argue or disagree with that!?! It always gets me every time that he express that to me or to my siblings. I believe my Dad when he say he Loves and Cares for me, my brother and sister. We weren't the easiest bunch of kids. Any kid would react the same way we did if your mom who is single brings a guy into the family picture. But it didn't took long for us to readjust. After years of knowing him and how he treated my Mom and us, we realized that this man really likes my Mom and wants to be there for us. Sometimes I would think that maybe his own kids would be upset by his interaction with us, well they were upset at first but eventually we kind of gotten along. No two families will be perfect but when you have both parents (my Mom and Stephen) come together in harmony, I would say it worked out pretty well. My Mom showed a lot of love and care for my Dad's kids like they were her own. And my Dad did the same thing to us. How can you not like him? Growing up I didn't call him Dad because I didn't felt comfortable and wasn't sure how to feel about it. But as I got a bit older, I realized the impact that he had in my life and how much I appreciate the love, support and affection he has shown unto me. I wanted to change that thought of him as my mom's boyfriend but to consider him as a true father figure who deserves to be called Dad. Now that I'm an adult and being married, I'm glad that I had that change of heart and gave him that respect that he truly deserves. Thank you Dad for everything that you have done for me. You've been there for me and my family through thick and thin. I love you very much and I pray that I'll make you proud as your daughter.

Love always,
Snow White aka JayLynn

On Influenster app, there is a badge campaign for every member to participate in and voicing their opinions. They have many different task for those who are participating in, to do on the app or online. From taking pictures and posting in on Social Media, to vlogging it, or blogging it, to even writing a review on their site and others. There are so many cool things to do whenever they have these campaign. So in this months badge campaign is the Viewer's Choice Awards 2017 Best in Beauty. We are to pick our favorite makeup products of this year and rate one of them on the app. As you can see above, I had a lot of favorites. This year was a big starting year for me in makeup. Don't get me wrong, I knew about makeup and what a few of them are used for. But diving a little bit more than usual had me intrigue about it. So I invest in a few items and some of them were given to me free from my VoxBoxes and gifts. Each product above has change my thoughts about makeup on me and how it worked so well even on the first try. If you're into makeup and dont have the budget for it, than try joining different mail subscription that you test out products for free, go to beauty store and get samples for free to find out more about different products. You dont have to spend your whole life savings to buy good makeup. Start with the inexpensive brand products from the grocery store. That's how I started and it helped me a lot. Those drug store brands has stepped their game up with their products. A few of them works just as good as the High quality brands. So do some research on what you want to buy and test them out. Start small and work your way up. Take your time in finding what works for you, especially in makeup. Any ways, that my thoughts and I'm excited to see what products win the award for this year Best in Beauty on Influenster.

Part of the Influenster badge campaign was to recreate the Hallmark #CareEnough message they had for us to choose. So I chose the message: "Call a loved one and ask what he or she's been up to instead of just talking about yourself." And this is what I came up with. Its nothing great but I wanted to capture myself on the phone...I was talking to my Dad. He's usually busy with work, but he picked up for me and thats when I just started taking photos of myself. lol I got the job done and it turned out ok. I really like this message because you are doing something that is a normal thing, but sometimes it can be hard for others to call a loved one just out of the blue. For me it's easy because I have a really good and close relationship with my family. My mom was the first one I usually would call and check up on her. She was my phone buddy! It could be everyday or every other day we would call one another and make each others day. But 4 years ago changed everything for me. She's in heaven watching over me and its pretty tough not hearing her voice at the other end of the phone. I eventually improvised and started to call my Dad more. He's a tough guy to crack, but he's still loving. When my mom was alive, she would tell me to call my Dad once in a while to check on him. I did and it started a bond between us that I never thought it could happen. Years forward and I still have that close bond with my Dad, that he would now call me and check to see how I'm doing.
No matter what the relationship is with people you love or cared for, make that time to call them.
You don't know the great impact it is for them hearing from you. Whether its a good or bad situation that left you loosing contact with them in the first place. Be brave and make that call.
I'm grateful that I continue to make that call to my family members daily, especially to my Dad. It's slowly healing the wounds that was caused by the death of my beloved mom. But most importantly, its creating a deeper and meaning relationship with people who matters to me.
Don't wait until its too late. Start something new and be better than you were yesterday.
