A woman of love, compassion, service and full of kindness was my Mom. She wasn't perfect, but her personality made her one of a kind. This genuine hard working woman of 4 beautiful children, did so much for so many that she didn't want anything in return. I've seen my mom go through hard times whether trying to take care of her kids, being the sole care giver to her elderly parent, babysitting many children so that their parents can work to pay bills, feed the missionaries for the past 30 years and giving of herself in countless service by welcoming new families in the neighborhood, feed families, visit families in need, fulfilling her church callings and being selfless in every effort that she can give towards others. If you've meet my mom, you would feel nothing but love and gratitude to her. I know without a shadow of doubt that my mom was a precious and choice soul from heaven. Every day wasn't easy for her. With many health issues, both internal and external, she still pressed forward with humility and with a smile. She showed so much strength in everything that she has done and it has always inspired me to be like her or to emulate her genuine attributes. My siblings and I always look to my mom for comfort, concerns, advice and just to spend time with her whether on the phone or in person. Not one dull moment being with my mom. Her laughter was contagious and cute. She would always have a little side joke or just being sarcastic towards anyone she's close with just to have a nice good laugh. She may not always be the center of attention, which is something she likes best, but to her children she will always be the center of our lives.
My mom was a woman of great value and of great worth.
