My niece texted me a few weeks ago about seeing if I would be available to take her In-laws family photos and also to come to her father in law's 60th birthday party. I told her that I was working that day and I'll try to get it covered. A few days later I was able to get it off and do the photoshoot for my niece in laws. Let's just say it was a super hot day and I was trying my best to find a decent location at the park where they planed to have it at. A few back trees near the parking lot was my best option. So I did what I needed to do and got it done. Once I was done with the photos (about a week) they family was happy and so was I. This hobby can be demanding and tiring but with patience and determination, it will be well worth it.
Little Miss. Mahina Kanani Mae, you were born at such a great and interesting time in this life. Your parents love you and brought you into this world with love and care. I am thankful to have met you and feel such love for you. May you feel and witness the Lord's hand in your life, as you grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Hina, be mindful of your surroundings and those you may be hanging around with. They may either help you or break you down. Be wise in all your decisions in life. Pray unto the Lord daily, that he may guide and bless you throughout your life. I know you have amazing parents with good wisdom that will bless you as well. Be loving and patient. Share the Light and Love of God to everyone, especially your family. When times get tough, seek the Lords counsel and the counsel of your parents, grand parents, your aunties and uncles. They will be your best friend and confidant. May your beautiful soul shine bright as the noon day and your life be wonderful in Christ. I love you Hina!
Love,
Aunty JayLynn
Natalia I am so proud of you for taking the leap of faith and going to the temple to receive your endowments. You will learn a higher and holier calling for you as you continue to go to the temple and gain great knowledge from the holy spirit. May our Father in heaven bless and protect you throughout your life.
The Book of Mormon series has been a wonderful adaptation of the stories we read in the scriptures. And Mika was picked to be part of it. I really wished that I was able to participate in it but they really needed men for all the war and teaching parts. But I'm glad Mika had a part of it. My niece Zehla was in a earlier filming this year at the other studio location in Goshen Utah, near the place we took her engagement photo shoot at. So Season 5 will be released next year fall and I'm so excited to see familiar faces. This year we get to see the Saviors visit to the Americas this fall. Excited.
Henry's fiancé, Shela was visiting him this week and she made some yummy home made nut bread. She was trying a new recipe and wanted us to try it out. Let's just say it was yummy and soft. Shela wanted to make some adjustments to it in order to make it more better but I think its good cause I don't know how to make bread. I added some of her parents home made plum jam onto the bread and I couldn't stop eating it. Thank you Shela for this wonderful loaf of bread, please feel free to send me more whenever you need a taste tester, I am your gal!
