Last night Mika and I went and visited my grand nieces and nephew in Lehi. We just got done celebrating my niece Olimpia (their mom) birthday at Simply sushi. It was a fun time eating tons of sushi, chit chatting for hours and spending some good quality time with the family. After the adults hanged out, we went over to my sister in law, Jenny's house where the kids were and I finally meet my adorable grand niece Aurea for the first time since her birth a month and a half ago. She's such a cutie and I wanted to test out my camera by taking a few photos of her and her siblings and a few video clips. Here is the video that I put together from last night. Enjoy!
I do enjoy visiting family and eating a yummy meal. It was so nice visiting my sister in law Tiare and her husband, Ila at their apartment not too far from my place. Tiare was kind enough to make a yummy fish dish served with a delicious sauce, mash potatoes, green beans and a dinner roll. For dessert she bake peach cobbler and also had root beer floats to enjoy. Mika and I had a good time talking stories, watching random videos and eating more yummy food. Thank so much to Tiare and Ila for the awesome hospitality they've always shown us every time we visit them. Quality time with family is important, but I understand that not many have this opportunity to be with family or have any. So my suggestion is to spend time with people who matters to you and create fun, long lasting memories with them. I know it is worth it every moment.
After so many delays and flight set backs, my dad is finally here in Utah and I couldnt be more happier! He will hang out with me for 2 days than onwards to Rockin Ranch in Anthony Utah for 4 days. It was on his to do list to be a cowboy and heard the cattle. I was suppose to join him, but due to my back & tail bone I can't. Well maybe next time when I'm more healthier and better. As always I'm gonna be the spoil princess around my daddy and enjoy every minute with him. I hope you all have a blessed and fabulous day, because I know I will.
For the past 2 weeks, its been a pleasure to host my siblings at my little place in good ole SLC. Every time we hang out, I end up having a "Mommy Moment" and make a good home cook meal, treat them with whatever I have, especially my time and attention. I know for a fact that if my mom was still alive and was visiting us, she would do everything in her power to make us happy and have a great time. That's something I will always try my best to do whenever they are visiting. Even though we all live in the same state, its still important to me to make sure they are comfortable, happy and having a good time. I love these moments that I have with them. No matter what are obstacles or life may be, I will always love my siblings. Life is too short to continue holding grudges and be mad at them and their life styles. Whom am I to judge? I'm not perfect and neither are they. But one thing I do know is that we have a perfect knowledge of family unity, love, happiness, understanding and comfort. I continue to pray to the Lord for their safety and well being. May we all have a better love for family even if it hurts.
I had a wonderful day out with my hubby and sister today. We ate dinner at side of Aloha, which i highly recommend anyone who loves fresh Ahi or salmon Poké, stakes, Furikake chick and other wonderful Hawaiian authentic food should visit. What a amazing feast we had and of course talked for a few hours catching up on our lives. Then we headed over to Jordan Commons Movie theater to watch Hotel Transylvania 3. Now that a cute and funny movie to watch with the kiddies. After that we went our separate ways to go homes to prepare for the Sabbath. I hope y'all had a safe and wonderful weekend. Continue to make memories with those who you care and cherish.
Today we had a simple and quick family get together for my nephew Tai who is visiting us from Virginia. He heads back home tonight and so my sister in laws wanted to have a eating before he leaves. His older sister Anessa is arriving from studying over seas in Korea tonight but wouldn't be able to join us for the eating. But we hope to see her when she comes back to BYU for school this Fall semester. It was so fun to have you around Taibo and I hope you continue to study hard in school and with sports. Keep staying close to the Lord in all that you do. Honestly I can't believe that you are going to be a Senior in High School this up coming year. time has definitely went by so fast and you are growing up to be a amazing young man. Aunty loves you and is here for you if you need anything! Take care and God bless you and your family!!
