Having good friends is one of the best moments in life that makes everything bad around vanish. My husband and I was invited to dinner from a good friend of his who knew him when he was in his teens. Since his friend Mike was going out of Country for vacation this week, he wanted to celebrate Mika's and his mom birthday tonight. We went to a nice restaurant in Murray, Utah called Sicilia Mia. An authentic Italian style dishes made by cooks from Italy. Fresh ingredients, romantic ambience, Delicious desserts and friendly servers was presented beautifully at this small restaurant. I call it a diamond in a rough here in Utah. You would never guess what great Italian food are made from a group of fantastic people at Sicilia Mia. One thing I did notice is that it gets packed real fast, even when you already have reservations. Thank goodness Mike made reservations or we would of sat for a while to get in. We sat down at a nice table near the window, looked through the menu, which had many wonderful options and relaxed for a moment before we ordered our meals. We had sliced mini bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and thin sliced beef to snack on. We ordered our meals, which I got their cheese and spinach ravioli very delicious. Mika ordered lasagna, Mike ordered Cheese pasta and Gloria ordered Sirloin. We did enjoy the dishes and ordered Cream puffs stuffed with chocolate moose filling. Oh man those were so good but a bit too sweet for me. They had other desserts but we wanted something small. I'm not that good at explaining things but all I can say is that this is a great Italian restaurant and you should visit there and taste yummy food. We had a fun time celebrating birthdays and each other company. Thanks Mike for a delicious meal at a new favorite restaurant for me.
