Since I've been in this ward, there is nothing else I like to do but to meet up with the youth and YSA girls. Some of them I really got to know and it has been a delight to see them grow to become wonderful women in the gospel. One of those young ladies is Taheera. Mika and I got to know her when Mika was in the Bishopric and in charged of overseeing the Young Single Adults. We created tons of get togethers and activities for our ward YSA that we created a bond with Taheera. She is a sweet young lady with so much to offer and she is very talented. Tonight she came and visited me which she brought some home made fruit treats as a easter treat. She wanted to thank me for being so kind to her and always making he feel comfortable and loved. I am so greatful for every opportunity that I have to be a little light to those who comes into my life. May we all be a shinning light to those who God brings in to our live. We never know what impact we may have to help them.
Mike is doing better and progressing well with his right leg mobility. He is hoping to be released next week. I'm so happy for him and in his health progression. It was nice visiting him and bringing some lunch from Arby's. Sometimes we all need good company to get through the hard times. I am truly grateful to be able to be there for those who may need a pick me up moment or a visit or two. May we all do more good things daily, because life is short when let the negative things get to us and forget about the good things in life. Embrace the moment and be grateful of your life. Have a wonderful New Year everyone! Sending all my love and prayers to you all!
