Mika wanted to host a temple night with a few family members who has not been to the Salt Lake Temple and today was the day. We were lucky to have join with us Nadira and Alema. Since Nadira return from her mission a few months ago and Alema just received her endowments a few weeks ago, we thought it would be a cool experience to show them around inside of the temple. It's been a few years since I've worked at this temple and I really wanted to share some amazing stories and areas that was shown to me that has a wonderful history. It was a beautiful and wonderful experience to share with them. After feeding ourselves spiritually, we went to Dee's to feed our bodies physically. (Which we were very hungry!) If you ever visit downtown Salt Lake, visit the temple and if you're endowed, go and do a session and enjoy the beauty inside before it closes for 5 years on December 29, 2019.
This week was great, People still think I barely just arrived here in the Philippines haha And then I start speaking in Tagalog and they are blown out of their minds. But I still need a lot of practice although Ive been here for months now! any who, I have been experiencing great things out here in the Mission, from going to members, to eating half cooked duck eggs, to swerving through traffic trying not to die! :) The Lord has been with me 100 percent of the way! Its been full of laughs, trials, but He is always on the side!
Always trust in the Lord Jesus Christ! He'll Never turn his back on you
(Here is what happened in my week though)

Dear President Welch,
Hello President, well to start I'm glad to say my family is safe and they're all doing great. I do miss them, but nothing beats serving the lord full time and doing his work, it's such a short time in which we serve I've realized now in my 10th month of service, it flies by extremely fast. Anyways, my area is cool, I still haven't been across it all on foot yet, but I have gotten a good idea where things are at, I just need to know where more members are so we can find and help strengthen them.
One thing that actually happened that was interesting was I started a drawing project of a portrait of Jesus Christ, but as I continued to draw it and finished it I could feel the saviors love for me so strong, and I know that when we use our talents to glorify Him we are happy for doing so. So, in addition to that thought, I, myself am Happy because I can truly feel the spirit even when times get dark. I've seen a growth in my own reliance on the saviors Gospel as I have been serving and know it will grow if I humble myself continually daily.
That calls for this week President Welch, again, your doing awesome president ! we all love you, keep serving the Lord, I know He is pleased when we do His will Together!

Dear president Welch
So about my Family, they are all doing good, just working and it's very hot over there in Arizona, about 100 degrees at night they say! So that's them. But, this area, Caloocan 2nd it's cool, I feel I have a good feel of it now I've been studying the map on my free time just to familiarize myself with the area real good. While going through my area though, my companion and I go to on couple house, sister caican, and they want Elder Guiral and I to teach the first lesson to her husband because he was looking into the church. Anywho, we teach him and it seems like he wasn't helping me at all with the lesson and I was feeling like I was the only one talking, and it was tough because he knew alot about the bible and kept bible bashing me. anuwho Sunday comes up and guess what? It was all a prank he was a member and my companion stayed silent on purpose haha So that was a great welcoming to the ward! My companion is awesome by the way, hes such a hard worker and I can't wait to go forward!
For me, I am doing fine, I hit my 10th mark, and it's so crazy how time is flying ! Well, let me know if you need any help with anything President Welch, you are awesome! どうもありがとうございます! or Marami Salamat po !
I am so ecstatic for my niece Anzehla, who is going to serve in the Vanuatu Port Villa Mission in the Solomon Islands. She will be speaking French and I know she will do so well out there! I am so proud of you Zehla and I know the Lord needs you there to bless the lives of many on your mission. May you always seek the Lord's counsel and pray for the Holy Spirit and Holy angels to guide, protect and bless you when you begin your mission in December! Love you tons!!

Hello President Welch!
Well, I am super excited to meet you tomorrow! I know you'll do an awesome job because the Lord always makes the right choices. Any who, my companion and I get along just fine, and our area is looking good due to the baptisms coming up! I know its really not about the numbers in baptism, but I know its so cool when the people we teach sincerely want to be become members of Jesus Christ's Church, It makes me so happy. That's really all that's been going on here in Quezon City first area in the Quezon City zone!
Any who, I love you President Welch and have Faith in all that you will do, the Philippines is a great place to stay, I've been here for 9 months now, it gets better and better each day!
I look forward meeting you!
