I usually would try my best to celebrate my nieces and nephews birthday, but when you have so many of them you sometimes have to pick and choose. lol Its not that I don't care about the other ones but its sometimes kind of hard to know them personally or to live close to them to know what they like and stuff. So today is one of those special days that not everyone in this big family would remember, but I do. Today is my niece Nadira's 20th birthday. It's one of those typical days at the Tupuola home. Everyone is doing their own thing and trying to make something special for the birthday person which for this occasion is for Dira. She's a simple young women and she's to herself most of the time. But as a hard working women, she usually tries to do her own thing or spend some quality with her siblings. Mika and I are visiting the Tupuola family and I wanted to get her something that she usually don't get, but this time I know she was thinking about going on a LDS mission. So just thinking about that made me think about what my mom would do when one of her nieces and nephews planning on going on a mission, was to put together a missionary care package or kit. Buying things that would help them on their mission would be the best gift for anyone who wants to serve. That's what I did for Nadira, I put together a Mission kit. Since I was visiting her home, I had Jayjay and Natalia to come with me to pick out a few things for Dira. We got a side satchel which would be big enough to put her missionary books, notes, scriptures and things she would need to carry for tracking. I got her Preach My Gospel booklet, mini scriptures, small photos of Jesus Christ, Temple recommend holder, journal, a water bottle that contains an emergency kit. From an outside point of view it would look like a boring birthday gift, but to me I think that it's a perfect prepared gift for spiritual and physical uses. I'm not sure if she'll go on a mission, but as long as she had something that would help her spiritual for the future thats what matters to me. I hope you like this gift dira. It's not much but its something to help you in the long run. Happy Birthday!
Another good few months with so much great stories that I will share later about Elder Wolfgramm. But I would like to share one of the stories that Elder Wolfgramm emailed us this past week. He baptized a family whose been waiting for a while. He shared how he felt the spirit so strong with the kids and their parents. What a wonderful experience to share with us who are anxiously waiting to receive his emails. I'm so happy for you Grant and the family that you've blessed by performing one of the sacred ordinances that they may grow more spiritually close to God. Job well done and continue to strive for whats important...bringing our brothers and sisters unto Christ!!
Take care and ttyl.

How is everyone? So this week has been just a huge BLAST of awesomeness! We are continuing to work with our Golden fam and they are all super awesome every one of those kids are just great and its funny I was talking to Elder Li-Khau (one of my Zone Leaders) and he was saying while he used to work in the area I am currently working in they did not like the missionaries to much and often didn't care to listen... But time softens hearts and now they are all closing in on their baptsim for Feb. 25th! I love this family and I hope that things continue the way they are! Also because right now I am in a combined area I also am working with some two investigators in my area who are super awesome and they seem to be super awesome! I hope that we can continue to help these wonderful people here on Yap come unto Jesus Christ! You know... I've been thinking about how much the Lord has done here on this small island and the Spirit of God sure has softened the hearts of these people! It really is a blessing to see the faith of these people as well... I hope I can continue to love and see these people as our Heavenly Father sees them... But yeah anyways things are going so well right now and I am truly happy I get to be in this work! Like the scriptures say the gospel will go out unto the isles of the sea... And its here! Anyways much love to all yallz thank you all for the support you give me through prayers, and anything you do I appreciate a lot! And if your wondering about my langauge "Itipeli be ibe kegachiu lago shagiu yai kaptelal faluwash pangal yat nge I ta gula pangal faiurmil nge I gula be Deus yebe tepangiei iga ibe kapet rel kapetalal faluwash!" It's a long time since we've been on a trip and I'm glad that we decided to go to Florida since that's the place where everything began for me and my husband. Let's just say it's been over 15 years since we've been back. And every moment was worth it. Having fun in the sun, enjoying the humidity, eating yummy food and seeing our family and friends. I'm glad we went and it will be a cherish memory for the rest of my life. If you haven't been to Florida and experience their amusement parks and beaches, than I say save up and go. Enjoy your time like I did.
