Today was a wonderful Temple service kind of day. Before we came to work, Mika and I was very tired from staying up late. He wanted to call in and just rest. But I told him no we are going to work. I expressed to him that if we can stay up all night doing whatever we want with no hesitations, then we can go and work in the Temple being tired. My main concern with him was that our choices does matter when it comes to our spirituality. And I was not going to miss a Temple day just because we stayed up all night playing games or doing whatever we wanted. Friday's is our dedicated day for the Lord and I will not skip it because of our bad choices. If I am still worthy to serve, then I will serve, but if I'm not, then I will do my best to repent and be clean and worthy to serve in the Lord's Holy House. Anyways, we got ready and made our way to the Temple. I thank the Lord for giving us strength and the Holy Spirit to be with us to serve on our shift. It was awesome because we got our new schedule shift schedule for what are assignments will be. I was lucky to work at the recommend desk. Greeting everyone and scanning their Temple Recommends was awesome. It is nice to be at this post for once. Seeing people facial expression changed from being burden of the world to smiling and be filled with the Light of Christ. All I can say is that the Lord's love and light is beautiful and I am thankful to be able to see that every Friday when I come to the Temple and serve all who comes through.
