Mika and I went after our work at the Temple to help the Relief Society with the clothing drive set up. They needed help with sorting out the clothes and items for the event tomorrow. From a little after 6pm to about 10:30pm, we helped clean and organized all the donated items, with the help of a few other ward members. I am glad there was food, cause I was hungry after serving in the Temple. There was a ton of stuff and not much help but we still got it done. I wish them the best of luck tomorrow and hopefully people will show up and take as much stuff as they can. I am thankful for the good and hard work of those who brought stuff and help with this event.
Another hard day at work and nothing beats coming home, showered, relaxed and ready to eat something delicious. Many may not like eating veggies for a meal after work, but I do. When I am lazy to cook, and if I have it, I will choose veggies and fruits over chips and cookies. I know I can make a wholesome meal, but when my body aches, I rather grab snacks that are easy to put together. This snack actually fills me up and I get to relax afterwards without feeling stuffed from eating take out or a heavy meal. I'm content and good. Now I can relax until I am ready to finish editing our youth time capsule video. Happy eating and good night everyone!
Eating a semi healthy snack has its pros and cons for me. I don't mind eating it, however, it can be a bit much. Not in a bad way but in a mental state of mind. Meaning that it helps keep myself in check of what I do eat on a daily. I may look like I eat everything but honestly, I eat 1 meal a day and drink a ton of water. So snacking on this fruit bowl or any fruits is yummy to me but it's a bit expensive to get. If money wasn't an issue, I would be eating more healthier foods daily. Unfortunately I don't have that luxury and that is why I have a variety of good and unhealthy foods in my home. Well it is what it is and I will continue to do my best to live and eat better. Now I am trying to do light stretching and walking to help with my body strength. Doing any type of exercise creates a flare up with my nerves and back muscles. One day I will find something that will help me and not hurt me while I am exercising. Anyways, I got a ton to do and I'll end this blog until the next time. 🤪 c-ya
I was hungry while I was editing, so here is my lazy meal, Ramen. I only made it for myself, since Mika is out with the guys tonight. But it's all good, he needs some friends hangout time, away from all the busyness of Bishopric duties and work. Plus, I do enjoy some quiet time to myself. Well, be safe everyone!
