Limone Pizza
Another day another yummy eats at a new location that i've never visited before. Today my husband and I went to Pizzeria Limone in downtown SLC and it was a pretty neat place to dine. Since we haven't had any pizza in a while, we wanted to try this place out and see if its a hit or miss. Nothing fancy looking from the outside but the interior looks very modern industrial kind of vibe. Also it was simple in design and menu. You have the option to browse through the menu thats on the wall or they have a menu card. The sizes of the pizza options are personal 10 inch or family 14. Mika and I both got our own personal size, that way we order different types of pizza and try both out. If you want to know about calorie count, ugh you won't find it here. You have to look it up and hope that it will be online to calculate. hehehe I found mines but for my husband, not so much. We guesstimate it. When you know what you want to order, you walk up to place your order as they put it in the computer and make it right in front of you and then you can pay for it. But I've been walking around for awhile and I was tired of standing so I just ordered my pizza, paid for it and sat down. The pizza that I got was the Caprese and Mika got the Salsiccia. Mines was more on the veggie side and Mika's pizza had sausages with veggies. They wait wasn't long, I would say about 10 minutes or a bit less. But it wasn't too bad of a wait for me. Our order was done and delivered to our table. It looked beautiful and delicious. The flavors of my pizza was perfect. The juiciness of the fresh sliced tomatoes, the 5 cheeses, onions, basil, herbs, olive oil and balsamic vinegar was placed to perfection. It was a bit messy in the hands but to my tummy it was yummy. I did try Mika's pizza and that was good but the sausages was a bit salty to me. Overall it was a really good and decent size pizza. Not greasy or heavy after feeling, but healthy lite and well made. Visit any Pizzeria Limone in your area and try their delicious pizza.
