KARL
We have been teaching Karl twice a week now to prepare him for baptism! We moved his baptismal date to September 1st so we can make sure we get everything ready. We are excited for him and his son, Cayden. They are excited for their baptism!

PATTY!
We met with Patty again this week and taught her the Plan of Salvation! She understood everything and said this all seems familar to her. She again said that everything makes sense and she had no questions! She is super interested in learning about this Gospel. She was able to come to church again this week! She really enjoys it and feels very welcomed in at church! She has made a lot of friends in Relief Society.

Jimmy D.
So Jimmy is a person that I had the opportunity to teach a while back in Fallon. And I recieved news from the Elders who now serve in Fallon that Jimmy will be getting baptized in September!! He was able to get off parole and has given up everything for the Lord!! I am sad that I won't be able to attend his baptism but I am super happy for him! I know he has been waiting a long time!! It was awesome being able to find him and teach him!
Biking in the Rain!
The Lord has answered my prayers and has blessed us with Rain! It has cooled down a lot this week and we are loving it! Sister Squire and I have been having tons of fun! We have met a lot of people as well! Most of them think we're crazy for biking in the rain but the work must go on. haha

Brandon.
Sister Squire and I were riding bikes when we saw a man in his garage. We waved at him and said Hi and then he asks, "Are you the Sisters of God?" and we both said, "Yes!" and then he went on to explain his religious background and expressed his love for the Bible. He asked who we were and we told him we were Missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He then goes on to say, "Oh great, at least your not the Mormons because I hate them." We looked at each other but didn't say anything to him. He asked where we were from and we said, Utah. And then he asked us how its like living there surrounded by Mormons. lol We said we love it! and then after talking with him for a while about Jesus Christ and the Bible. I pulled out the Book of Mormon and asked him if he's read it. He said, "NO! Why in the world would I read that? Wait, Do you read it?" We said "Yes! Its the Best book!"and then It clicked in his mind that we were Mormons. He just laughed and then We were able to tell him about the Book of Mormon and how it is comparable to the Bible and how it can help one come closer to Christ. He then brought up his concern about how he doesn't think this book is from God. We ended up giving him the copy and we invited him to read and pray about it. He said yeah he'll do it and said we could come back anytime! It was really cool to see his heart kinda soften as we kept talking to him.

John!
Sister Squires felt prompted to stop to talk to a guy sitting on his porch. We were able to create genuine conversation and talked about the weather and the fires going on. He said he's been going through a rough time with family which created a perfect opportunity for us to bring up the gospel! We testified that the messages we have to share will bring him and his greater peace and happiness through trials. He said he's open for anything right now and invited us back! I am so grateful that Sister Squire was able to follow that prompting of the Spirit. I didn't even see him as we were passing by! I know the Lord continues to put people in our path!
