Sister Nadira Tupuola Email #45

Hello Everyone! This week was crazy. But I'm still alive.

On Tuesday I had to say goodbye to Sister Cluff as she left to go home to Utah. I am grateful that I had the chance to serve with her. She is an awesome missionary! Very Hardworking and diligent. I am going to miss her! It's crazy how much I learn from just my companions!

Sister Squire!

Sister Squire is my new companion! Fresh out of the MTC. She is from Provo, Utah. (born and raised). She is the oldest of 5 siblings. She graduated from Provo High and attended a year at UVU. This week has been fun getting to know her. We have a lot in common. She wasn't excited to come here to Nevada for her mission. She says it's gonna take some time for her to grow a love for this place. lol. she is so funny! But she is awesome! She came in ready to go to work which made me happy because we had lessons after lessons set up the day she came in. She said its been overwhelming but she is learning a lot and its nothing she can't handle. It's been a little scary for me having to be her trainer but she has been very patient and easy going. Overall its been fun! I am excited to be her companion and to learn from her!

This week has been probably one of the busiest. We found a New person with interest! :D

Her name is Patty and we had our first lesson with her on Thursday. We taught her the Restoration and she said that everything makes sense, We invited her to read the

Book of Mormon and to pray to know if what we've taught her is true. We have our next lesson with her set up for this Thursday and we are so excited!

Karl

We had our first lesson with Karl who will be getting baptized on Aug. 25th! We went over the Restoration. Karl is a genius and he already knew everything lol. But he is super cool. He came to church this week with his family and they are excited to get baptized next month. His family are not too fond of him getting baptized into the Mormon church but they will be coming in town to come to his baptism. We have our next lesson with Karl on Wednesday and we will be going over the Plan of Salvation!

Coverley family!

We were invited over for dinner with the Coverley family. They are active members in the Jobs peak ward. They invited their non member neighbors to dinner as well and we had a great time! Their nieghbors are methodist and they are the sweetest people! We shared a message after we ate about building our foundation on Christ. We shared the scripture in Helaman 12:5 and they loved it! They invited us over to their house!

Car Miracle!

We were on our way to TRE (Topaz Ranch Estates) to go to our lesson with Patty in the Walker Branch area. There were so many times where we almost died because of dumb drivers almost hitting us. SIster Holdeman who is a member in the Jobs Peak ward drove us out there and she was joking around about how Satan was trying to kill us so we couldnt have our lesson with Patty. But its so true! Satan is real and was trying to make us miss our appointment! The angels were truly protecting us! But we made it there safely and had a powerful lesson with Patty!
