Kammagar is actually thank you in Yapese lol! I am not learning Yapese (at the moment) but hey it's a really cool language unfortunately you have to know how to roll your "R's" which I cannot do yet... I am working on it. But yeah I am still working with Woleaian it is truly the celestial language lol no offense haha just kidding! I love all languages but it just so happens that this is the one they speak in the Celestial Kingdom haha... Alrite enough with the jokes anyways life on the mission field is both wonderful and stressful! One day you think you might have something going with an investigator and than boom they are leaving on a ship to the Outer Islands (where missionaries aren't allowed yet). But yeah it has been a good week though I continue to learn new things everyday and the life of the islanders is super laid back. Unfortunately missionaries can't do that except on P-Day's although we usually clean and do shopping or something of that nature. But yupp things here are definitely changing a ship came to Yap dropping off about 61 people from the Outer Islands and me and my companion have figured at least one of them has been prepared for us so we did a lot of "Friending" which is what we do here in we go walk around and meet new people by offering help or just being nice and of course if we can we will teach a lesson! Anyways we did a lot of that this week and we found a family that we invited to be baptized and the Father said the typical "I was born a catholic so I think I will die one.." but the mother said "Yes..." it was awesome we hope to continue working with them. Doing this work always keeps me humble because you just never know what lies ahead and yeah things are pickingup here. Anyways something really funny that happened yesterday was me and my companion had just got out of an appointment at around 9:30pm and were about to head home when we look into our car and we had a bag of crabs in our car which a member gave to us to deliver to someone and yupp it was open and I yelled "Ragowmm!!" (crab) they literally were everywhere on the seats, under the seats, in cup holders, in the back of the car... yea it sucked and we had to get them all out but than all of a sudden as we were getting the crabs out a huge downpour of rain came outta no where and within seconds we were soaked. But yeah it was hilarious now that I look back but it wasn't, and also it was funny as we drove through the rain we missed a couple of crabs and they were crawling around our feet... haha it was real good anyways that's it for this week I love all yallz!

These past few days was an amazing time for me. My little big brother from Hawaii came to Utah to visit his in laws and also visit Me and my brother Henry. I haven't seen him in 3 years due to where we live. But it was amazing to finally meet his youngest daughter Alana. She's totally attached to her daddy. We hung out at my brother Henry's place in downtown Salt lake, just catching up on life and what's been going on in Hawaii. Soon it was time to go cause they had a long day and had to drive back to Heber City, which is an 1 hour away eastward from SLC. We said our goodbyes until we see each other the next day in Provo. These adorable Tongan, Samoan and Korean little girls are beautiful. I'm a sucker for Korean dramas and when I see them I just giggle with joy knowing one day I will see and hear them talk in Korean. I love them. Even though they didnt know who we were, I remember them and how cute they were when they were babies. Some day I hope to have a good relationship with my nieces and create a cool bond with one another. I know they will be smart, talented young ladies. They have amazing parents who loves them dearly. These moments I cherish so much. Have a safe journey back to Hawaii, Wilson! Luv you bro and your ohana!!
My adorable niece got baptized today in Florida where she was born and raised. I would have love to be there for her but when times are rough to travel, you just got to improvised. So I made a few ribbon leis for her, that way she knows how much we love her and support her in the decision of getting baptized. Congrats sweety and may the Lord continue to guide, direct and bless you always!!
Luv ya,
Aunty Jay
This has been quite an interesting week just been nice and we got to have the Assistants to the Mission President come from Guam it was Elder Paewai and Elder Herman they arrived yesterday and they will be giving a training on Tuesday so will see how that goes! Anyways we are continuing me and my companion to be exactly obedient and things are slowly turning around in our favor and I know that God is blessing us and he is helping us to soften the hearts of the people! We lately have been teaching this really nice and funny kid named Trevor he was born in Hawaii but he was raised in Yap I think don't quote me on that one anyways he is awesome he speaks Ulithian so that's interesting he understands Woleaian so we are working with him... only problem is he is going to the outer islands for school so we unfortunately aren't going to be able to teach him until he comes back but right know we are still working with him so that when he does come back that he will still have that desire to be baptized! But most of our investigators are all pretty young accept for a few. I know that if we are exactly obedient the Lord has so many blessings in store for me and Elder Zonts! Anyways with the language I learned a lesson to stop thinking and just speak lol that was what Elder Herman one of the Assistants told me and I really took that in to mind and last night had an amazing time teaching a lesson in for the most part Woleaian and yeah I know that God truly was helping me putting the words in my thoughts and than me just saying them, and even though sometimes what I said was broken they helped me and than I said it right... Yeah I gotta say things are going good here and I love all yallz and hope to continue to do my very best all for the glory of God! Ofa atu and until next week!

Gaisa Gaita! That is the Ulithian way of say "How are you doing?" lol to be honest all these languages are super similiar but yet very different... Lol this week has been an okay week me and my companion had a lot of ups and down. The reality is that lately things haven't been the best we are still working through it all and we have been truly practicing exact obedience... Me and my companion are taking on Jeffrey R. Hollands promise which says "Obedience brings blessings, exact obedience brings miracles..." And I know it will... right know things aren't looking good but I know that this is the Lord testing us seeing if we really want those miracles. As for our investigators all of them are amazing I love them all and I want to see that they are all happy. The language or should I say languages I will most likely pick them all up haha but for reals are all awesome my Woleaian is getting better as we teach, teach, and teach it'll come lol. A cool thing that I did this week was I gave a talk in church on the "Responsibilities and Duties of the Aaronic Priesthood" which is funny because being in a branch it's super small and we have exactly one Deacon right know... but that Deacon is amazing his name is Tyler a Yapese kid and I love the kid he is hilarious always cracking jokes with me and Elder Zonts but when it comes down to it he fulfills his responsibility. Well one thing I know for sure is that I know that God is a loving Heavenly Father and he only wants the best for us and I love you all a lot I miss all you guys wether friends or family no matter I love all yallz! Ofa Atu and Gang I gula, bwe Deus ye fagogish! "I know that God he loves us all!" All right see yas next time Ilanga!

P.S. (I do a lot of these haha) It is typhoon season... so yeah that will be interesting.
Okay I thought I would have a lot to say about my Daddy turning 60 years old, but I don't. It's still not hitting me yet and I'm not sure what to think of it. He's getting old of course but then that's like saying he is close to death and I really don't want to think about that now. Wow! the big 60, I can't believe that it came that fast. Whoa this is a lot to store in. But anyways, about my awesome dad and his birthday...now lets see what should I say. What I can say at this moment is this: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY YOU OLD MAN! heheh just kidding, but no for reals I love you and have a wonderful birthday dad! Thanks for everything that you have done for our family. Luv ya!
Well I just wanna say it's been a bit of a rough week no lie just with things not going the way we thought they were... But hey that's life. Though it ain't fun we "Press Forward!" the kids here are hilarious I love them even though they can be super naughty haha they are awesome. The language is interesting because to be honest I'm not only learning Woleaian... though right now I'm focusing on Woleaian they are three main outer island languages which are Woleaian, Ulithian, Satawalese and sooner or later I'm gonna have to pick up all three... The big problem here is almost everyone can speak English so yeah I really hate English right now it makes things harder when your trying to learn another language. Wanting to learn their language makes me love the people all the more and I hope to get to the point where I can do as the Lord has said which is to "speak to everyone in their own tongue..." Right now it ain't easy but I know that if I have faith things will come to me in the time the Lord wants it to. Anyways this week has been like I have stated early "rough" I wish everyone would just come to the truth but sadly everyone has the choice to say no. We have some investigators who really want to be baptized but their parents are against it and since they are only 11, and 9 they have to follow what their parents say it's part of the custom here which was just a stepback for me and Elder Zonts but hey were working with the parents and are praying that their hearts may be softened. On the other hand another of our investigators accepted baptism and though she is in a bit of the same situation as our other investigators we are good friends with her adopted mother and hopefully the Lord will help us to soften her heart too. Well that's whats happening here in Wa'ab (Yap) there was also a typhoon that hit Guam and we have been feeling some of the effects of it here! Well much love to all yallz and of course thank you for all the prayers, love, and support!
Much Love,

P.S. We also were doing some Family History and I found my line all the way back to Adam and Eve!
