Well this week was so good!
It was wierd going to church for only 2 hours yesterday but I am grateful for the new changes that have been made in the church! Yesterday, Both our wards were jam packed! We even had to open the overflow haha. I guess people are making their new resolutions to come back to church! It was great!

NONDA AND BLAKELY!
Nonda is an inactive member and Blakely is her non-member daughter who we have been visiting every week. This last week, they both mentioned how they want to come to church but satan always gets to them. Sister Denning and I had a plan to be more bold with them and we commited them to come this Sunday to church and THEY DID!! They stayed the full two hours and loved it! Everyone welcomed them in and they said they will be coming back again next week! Blakely brought her two daughters and her son as well! It was a miracle! This made our week!

EXCHANGES WITH SISTER HOEFT!
I had the chance this week to go on exchanges with Sister Hoeft. She serves in a biking area in the Mount Rose ward. I got to ride my bike for the first time in 3 months!!! Oh how I missed my bike!! It has been too long. We saw many tender mercies. Although It was really hard having no car in the snow storm, We both stayed positive and had a blast! We realized that we could be negative and be miserable in this cold or we could change our attitude and be positive and have fun with it. It was hard but as we got to work and continued staying positive, we didn't think much about how cold we were! Sister Hoeft is from Mililani Hawaii so she is so not used to the snow. haha
We had dinner with the Maya family from Mexico and they made us Mole (not sure how to spell it but its pronounced Mo-leh) which I guess is a traditional Mexican sauce. We had it over chicken enchiladas. I didn't think I'd like it cause they said it has chocolate in it but it was really good!

Sister Denning and I are enjoying the snow!. We were out visiting potentials and less actives and they thought we were crazy for walking around in the snow. One guy said he liked our determination though and said we could come back. His name is John and he is an older man in his 80's. His wife passed away and he said he just sits in his house starring at wall most of the time. We told him that the messages we have will help him and bring him greater peace. He said we could come back any time.

Cynthia
We knocked on a door looking for a man named Dakota who had met with missionaries in the past. We wanted to follow up to see if he was still interested but he wasn't home. But his Mother was! She was really nice and didn't know if his son was still interested. We asked if she would be interested in hearing the messages we have to share and she said sure! So we will be going back later this week to teach her! It was a sweet miracle!

Edward
We met with Edward this week! He goes to another church downtown but was nice enough to hear what we had to say. He is a guitar teacher and he played some songs while we sang. He is really good. Although we are not sure how interested he really is. He wanted us to hear more of what he believes. We have another lesson with him next week. so we will see how it goes.

Nora
We had dinner with the Delavoye family and we got to meet their nonmember daughter named Nora. Nora is 16 has openly stated that she will never become a member of the Church and refuses to talk about anything religious. So heres where the miracle comes in,,She happens to love Asians, anime, and kpop. and It so happens to be that Sister Denning and I love all those things as well!! She was so excited to hear that we had a lot in common. That became the discussion at the dinner table. She then asked us why we came out on a mission and said that she would like to come out with us sometime. It was seriously a miracle and Nora's mother couldn't believe what she was hearing! We are excited to continue visiting Nora and hopefully soften her heart a little bit. She is awesome.
