Greetings!
This week was great! the Light the World event was awesome! A lot of people came through! We were able to talk to a few non members and they seemed to really enjoy it. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed a lot of the different Creche displays.

After a rough few weeks trying to find people to teach, we met a couple people who expressed interest in having us come over!!

Emily!
We saw that the Elders before us had met a woman named Emily as they were riding their bikes one day. She was out with her pet animals (pigeon, dogs, donkeys, goats, pigs, ostrich, llamas) and gave the Elders a bunch of eggs. So we decided to go back and introduce ourselves and see if we can set up a lesson. She was really nice and showed us all her animals. She is an artist. She said we could come back anytime!

Kris
We saw on our records that the Elders in the past have met Kris while walking. She expressed interest in hearing what we have to say. We decided to go meet her and she gave us her number and said she would still like to hear our message. She is really nice and is a stay at home mom. We are excited to go back!

Donna and Steven
Steven is a less active member in one of our wards. The bishop told us to go visit him to see why he's less active. So we went and met Steven and his non member wife Donna. They were surprised to see that there are women missionaries. He thought we were the Jehovah Witnesses. it was funny. But they were both nice and they let us in. We got to know them a little and found out that he was raised a member of the church but never really had a testimony. His wife considers herself Catholic but respects what we do in our church. We shared our Christmas Message with them and read in the New Testament in John 8:12. They said we could come back to share more of our messages and even practice our missionary lessons with them. We hope to help them gain their own testimony of the gospel with our messages!

It's the best being a missionary at this time of year.
To see how people are more open to letting us in and hearing our messages about Jesus Christ and seeing their hearts soften. We hope to continue to see more miracles as we go out and find!

This area has been quite a challenge. It is a lot different than my past areas. I've had to change my approach when we go knocking on doors. The people here seem to have everything they need and don't need Religion. But the work is slowly moving forward! We are working a lot with our members to find people! but anyways I hope y'all are enjoying this holiday season!
