Happy Monday! This will be a short email..Just another awesome week here in Spring Creek!
We spent most of the week riding bikes! These hills tho haha. Its been good exercise!
Im excited for next week when me and my companion will be driving down to Reno for the weekend to attend Sisters conference! (where all the sister missionaries gather together) So that will be a fun road trip! haha
DENNIS RAEGAN!
So a couple of weeks ago we helped a non member clean up his yard. He is a 70 year old man from Lancaster, England. He is Catholic. We didn't share anything pertaining the gospel. All he knew was that we were missionaries of the Mormon church. This week, out of nowhere, we recieved a call from him and he said he is going through a hard time and needs our counsel! He said he wanted to come to our church! So he came with us to church yesterday! He wouldn't stop talking during the sacrament meeting haha. As they passed the water, he goes, "Whiskey Shots! Now thats what Im talkin about!" LOL everyone kept looking at him. I had to explain what was happening haha As we Sung the Hymns he kept clapping, saying, "Beautiful! just Beautiful! haha He is so funny! He loves music and he likes to sing Elvis to us haha He had to leave after sacrament because his back was hurting but he said he really enjoyed it and would like to come back next week! haha It was a cool experience! All because of service! The Lord definitly was preparing him!
Well that was the highlight of my week! I forgot my journal to write what else happened haha but until next week!
