My thoughts I sent to Sister Nadira Tupuola this Morning

Dearest Nadira,

I received your letter on Saturday and boy was I excited to received it. It made my day 100 times better:). Both your emails and written letters brings me joy and I love reading it. You've inspire me more each time that Ive read it. From your spiritual growth to your minor struggles even to your testimony of Jesus Christ, has inspired me to better myself and to study genuinely the scriptures daily. I do enjoy your weekly tasks and trials you've faced on your mission. Not that I enjoy you struggling but how you try every day to over come it with Faith in Christ and through spiritual guidance. Keep going strong and do your best always. You don't have to be perfect or smart or outgoing to do a good job on your mission!?! You are the best that you are but as you continue to learn & grow through trial & error, the Lord will guide you and mold you into the woman you were meant to be. Its never easy to go through hardships but its our determination and motivation that shapes how we are and our future.

When you mentioned you regret being lazy before you went on a mission. It got me thinking...As much as we look in the past of our idleness or laziness or flaws or not studying the scriptures diligently or doing more service or what have you, shouldn't be a reason to DOUBT yourself or JUDGE yourself harshly. NO!! Its just one of the Adversary's way to bring ourselves down to his level into negativity. Just think of those PAST moments as stepping stones to AVOID or to CHANGE in the future. You will face many things both temporal and spiritual that may put you in an uncomfortable or scary situation. And with those moments that may occur its up to YOU, your Free Agency, your Faith and your Will that may cause an effect in your life that may be easy or hard to deal with later.

Dira, you have so much to give to the people in Spring Creek that you're not giving yourself any credit for. Every single word, smile, handshake, approach, prayer, service and testimony you've express towards others can cause a Good ripple effect to others that may change their lives. Have you ever wonder why the Lord sent you to Spring Creek Nevada for you first area? It may be a quite, slow engaging and time consuming place to be, but He wants you to be there for your Spiritual Growth. Every encounter has a purpose. You've been there for 3 going on 4 months now and have you've notice the changes within yourself everyday? You become a better Dira each day and thats where you are growing and shaping yourself through the Holy Spirit, through the atonement of Jesus Christ and through your faithful diligence in Him to serve with love and care. You have experienced many things prior to your mission and some of those things will help you on your mission, which has happened a few times. I know you will over come your minor issues. Give yourself some time and patience. Never rush yourself in anything that may need your humble attention. I know that you've seen, felt and know how much you are protected through the Holy Spirit. Treasure that deeply. Remember how blessed we are to have one of the God heads with us every moment of our lives. The Holy Spirit is the most important God head that impresses our hearts and minds to do what the Lord wants us to do. Embrace it and use it to your advantage at every cost. I hope you had a wonderful week. I pray for you & your companion every day. I'm excited to hear your week adventures. Please take care of yourself and stay warm. Ttyl
Love always,
Aunty Jay
