Hello Fam! It's been a week!
As you may already know there are a lot of fires going on and the air quality hasn't been too great. In my area it has been pretty bad with surrounding fires. There are ashes falling from the sky. We were told by our misison president to stay indoors as much as possible. But being a missionary thats hard! But we've been trying to do our best to stay inside. And we have been using our car to get to and from places.
But I haven't been feeling to well this week. The air isn't helping at all. Satan is trying real hard to stop the work but I refuse to do nothing. There is too much work to do.

Even though this was a harder week for me, we were still able to see many miracles! Here's what happened..

Patty B.
Patty is doing so GREAT! She came to church again yesterday and enjoyed it! She is excited for her baptism on September 22nd and is already inviting people to it! She still thinks its crazy how we came up with that specific date for her. We stopped by her home last night and she couldn't stop talking about how happy she is. She recognizes Satan working harder on her but she refuses to let him win! She is doing awesome and has been reading her scriptures everyday!

Richard B.
little Richard is still on fire! He came to church yesterday and still has a desire to get baptized! We are still waiting for his parents permissiion but he is still doing great!

Richard D.
Richard is still waiting to hear from the first presidency for approval for his baptism. He is still anxiously waiting but he is doing good. He came to church again yesterday and is still striving to stay on the path. We are meeting with him every week. We read in the scriptures with him in Alma 17 about the sons of mosiah and he enoyed it.

Karl Kelley.
Karl is still excited for his baptism on Sept 1! we met with him this week and taught the Plan of Salvation. He has a great understanding of the gospel and is doing good. His son Cayden is slowly opening up to us and he talks more to us. He showed us some of his Karate moves. It was so cute.

Song Writing!
Sister Squire and I have been having a blast serving together! One of the things we have been doing is writing songs about our experiences. We will have to record them! Some of them are dumb but its a thing that weve recently been doing!

-I had the opportunity to do another training in District Council about immersing ourselves in the scriptures. It was great and I was able to learn a lot. The other missionaries were able to learn a lot as well.

-We taught the gospel principles class about baptism yesterday in the Jobs peak ward. We had a great discussion and everyone participated.

-We almost got attacked by llamas. It was great.

Matt L.
Matt is a referral we recieved from the Elders in Yerington. They met him on the street and have been teaching Matt for a few of weeks now. They felt like he is ready for baptism and they set him with a baptismal date for September 8th! But Matt had recently moved out of Yerington and now lives in the Walker Branch area! Which means we are to teach him now.  We met with Matt this yesterday and got to know him. He has 6 dogs and 2 goats and they are the world to him. Matt also enjoys hunting and fishing which is why he moved in our area, to be close to the Topaz lake. He has a great understanding of the gospel and enjoys going to church. He went to church yesterday and loved it. He is still excited to get baptized and knows these things we teach is true. He is willing to do what it takes to be baptized. Matt is super awesome and nice! We are excited to work with him and prepare him for his baptism! September is going to be a great month!

Ledean H.
So we had recieved a referral the other day from a member of the church to go visit a lady named Ledean. We felt prompted to go visit her on Tuesday and decided to put our other plans we had on hold. so we went out to search for her address and we could not find it anywhere! a couple hours we still werent having any luck finding Ledean's address. But we refused to give up. We said a prayer for the Lord to help us find it. After asking random people on the street, we were able to find Ledeans home! It turns out , we had the wrong address the whole time but it was a miracle that we found the write house! We met Ledean and she let us in. She told us she hasnt been doing too good health wise and has almost died several times. She is an older lady in her 90s. We were able to teach her the plan of salvation and she believed in everything we said! We had to leave to get home but she invited us to come back on Sunday!

Miracle!
So we do service for the methodist church every Saturday at their thrift store and we went there and they were closed. We didn't know what to do. We didnt have any back ups planned so we were just going to go home. But we felt prompted to walk around in a certain part of our area. We were able to talk to sooo many people! We met a guy named Don who is christian and said we could come back! He said we were a blessing to him and that we made his day! It was awesome! If we didn't follow that prompting! We wouldnt have met him and all those other people!

Genesis!
I have been studying in the Old testament about Joseph in Egypt. I love his example and his positive attitude he had even though he went through struggles and trials. He was sold as A slave by his brothers but he still remained faithful and looked for the good in every situation! reading and studying about him has given me motivation to look for the good in every day! Even though I havent had a great week being sick, I have been able to stay positve and we have still seen so many great miracles!

I am out of time but I hope you all have a great week! thanks for all of your love and support! love you guys
