This week has been such a blessing!! We had two of God's children enter into the waters of Baptism and it was the best feeling ever... I love these two Shandy and Richard! They are both super good kids and I know that they will find happiness as they start to dive into the church and become friends with the people here! But yeah things have been sooooo good this past week from Christmas all the way to New Year's Eve! Anyways I also had the chance to watch Moana! And it was pretty good I liked the songs lol! Anyways I super happy to hear about the Vikings! We are definitely in the runnings for a Super Bowl win!! Lol Anyways much love to you all hope you all have a great week! Plus its a New Year do something new!! Ofa Lahi Atu!!

I want to send my love and birthday wishes to this amazingly smart young lady and niece, Anessa! Girl you know you have so much spunk and smarts in you that you have so much to offer to this world. Whatever you do today, I hope its fun and memorable. Happy Birthday Nessa! We love and miss you!

As always we would hang out and go somewhere to eat as a family. The girls wanted to chill out and get out of Utah county and chill with us Salt Lake County folks. lol Anyways, after the Christmas party at Jens, we went to eat at iHop with cousin Tony from Hawaii and hang out after wards at our place for some video games and chit chat. I guess we had a little too much funny laughing the night away that we feel asleep around 3 or 4am?!? Lets just say we had fun and rested up the next day to just stay warm from the cold and pick up Mika from work. Oh ya we did stop by City Creek Mall to pick up some facial cleanser from Sephora for my girls and ate at Chic-fil-a. I know my girls didn't wanted the day to end, but its always a fun and exciting time together to be girls and do girlie things. Have a wonderful week sweeties and I hope to see you on New Year Eve!

I want to just wish everyone a Merry Christmas and this week has been good! We are working with two investigators and they are gonna get baptized this Saturday!! It's gonna be sooooo good!! But yeah I am still doing good trying my best to learn Chuukese its a lot of fun so I hope that I can hopefully get better and better at it!! But yeah anyways all my investigators are so awesome and some of them just doing everything they can to follow the Commandments its amazing! But anyways much love to you allz!! Keep it realz!

2018!! Hello family! I am doing awesome! It was good seeing you all on Christmas! 

Christmas for me was so fun! In the morning we played sports with the other missionaries and then we got to skype and then spent the rest of the day with members playing board games. We had fun just relaxing and stuff! We got a lot of gifts and food from members! 

New Years! 

We had to be in our homes at 7pm because of all the crazies who come out haha..But my companion and I just played games and listened to music and told stories! It was pretty fun! 

Marlene Stewart!

Marlene is the getting excited for her baptism! She has struggled with the Word of Wisdom but She is doing really good! She has been sober for 4 days now! She has had only 3 cigarrettes this week, which is really good cuz she was smoking a pack a day!!! We are excited for her! She really has a desire to change!

Whenever cousin Tony visits us from Hawaii, its never a dull moment with him around. Tons of laughter and fun jamming session that seems to last for ever. But I dont mind it because I've always enjoy whenever my husband plays music with good friends and family. Literally wonderful music to my ears. Thanks Tony for hanging out with us this weekend. I received this package a few days ago but I didn't had any time to play or take photos until today. This collaboration was talked about online and youtube. I've been a big fan of Patrick Starrr for a few years now. Watching his YouTube channel, following him on snapchats, Twitter and Instagram, seeing what he's been up to and his makeup tutorials. He inspired me to get back into makeup and find what makes me tick about makeup and how to go about it. I've always loved makeup but I wasn't really good at it. I felt like a slow learner on myself. Growing up my 2 sisters was my beauty genie pigs to test new hair style and makeup. But as I got older and married I didn't really care for it as much. Now I have a whole new look on life and myself. Patrick has been that extra confidence boost for myself and I wanted to support him by getting his collab with MAC Cosmetics. The packaging and products looks stunning. There are  2 quad eye shadow palettes(Goal Getter and Glam AF), 1 setting powder created by Patrick Starr and MAC. This is a really good tea! I'm not that great at explaining things in details about a product but I do try my best to share it in the best way possible. Okay, after the first test of this tea, i wanted to try it out in different situations. So i made it before i left to work and it still taste pretty good to me. I still prefer to drink it at home, unless I had to drink on the go. So far the earthy taste grew on me. I like loose teas and teas in a bag, but powder tea was new and interesting for me. If you dont mix it well it might be kind of grainy to the taste. I know when my husband tasted it, he wasn't a fan because it was to organic and earthy for him. hehehe i laugh at the thought of his facial expression at that moment. Adding 1-2 spoonful of sugar into the tea with 2 spoonful of powder creamer. Mix that up after you froth the matcha tea and boom you got a nice cup of Japanese Matcha Tea! Give it try if you want to drink something different during the cold season. Okay stay warm everyone!!

I really like the way this product felt during and after my first try today. It made my hair feel more soft and hydrated. I followed the directions to add the mask onto my hair for 3-5 minutes and shampoo it out. I really enjoyed the scent of it. Its like your nice smelling typical solon products would have. Once the time was done, I washed it out and it made my hair feel like silk. Thats how soft it made my hair felt. I did my typical washing routine with conditioner and air dried it to really feel my hair without blow drying it out. Wow! What a difference it made my hair even for the first attempt.

Having colored, damaged hair its really tricky not to over due on products or going to the salon to get it cut shorter and shorter, when you're trying to grow it out. I've always had bad hair ion my adult years. But its starting to annoy me how I have to treat it and get it healthy again. it took about 2 years for my hair to grow 2 inches. Yup! 2 freaking inches when it should of been 6-10 inches of hair growth.  Frustrating it is! When I receive the email saying that I was part of this hair damage treatment voxbox, I was so happy. These products dont come cheap! Now that I finally tested it out for the first time, it gave me some hope that my hair can get better, healthier and stronger. I have a few more weeks to test this out and I will show a before and after shot of my hair. This is a good month for some real good changes!!

 

One of the greatest joys that brightens my life is spending some quality time with my nieces. Today Mika was off from work and had an inspiration to take our nieces to watch a movie, Star Wars to be exact. So I contacted Natalia through Instagram to see if her and her sisters are available tonight to see a movie. Without any hesitation, she responded back to me and said they are available and excited to watch it. Once Mika and I were done with our daily errands, we headed up to Highland to pick up our nieces. The traffic was horrible and so it took some time to get to their house. We finally got there and just by the looks of it they were very eager to get out of the house. It made me laugh because whenever my husband and I visit them, they get excited because they know there's going to be some sort of fun and excitement about to happen for them. But of course Mika forgot to buy the tickets earlier for the girls, so we waited for him to get it. We got their tickets and went to the theater to get our tickets with our moviepass. Now we are set to enjoy Star Wars. Anzehla, Natalia and Jayjay were extremely happy to watch Star Wars and to take a break from their daily routine of school and babysitting. I'm glad to help them enjoy just a small moment of life outside of home life. After getting Mika and I movie tickets, we took the girls to eat dinner at Panda Express. I like to make sure whenever we have an outting with my nieces I want to make sure they eat something to keep them full and content throughout the day. We chit chatted while we ate. Had a ton of laughter and enjoyed our time together. We finished dinner and had 2 hours to spare, so we went to the Outlet mall in Lego to walk off our yummy meal. Actually we didn't walk too long because it was way too cold. Instead we walked to Hot Topic, I bought each of them a shirt from the television show Riverdale and stopped at Harkins to grab a snack for the movies. Finally we are standing in line to get into our movie theater and I can feel my girls excitement as we waited. We are in our seats and the movie was about to start. The Star Wars mix is theme starts and now its time to watch the show. Throughout the movie, I would watch their facial expression during the parts I knew they would be shocked or surprised at. I would also look at my husbands face whenever he would see their facial expressions, he would have a big smile knowing that these girls are enjoying the movie. But before the movie started, Mika told me afterwards that this older woman that was sitting next to him saw us sitting in seats getting situated for the movie, told my husband, "Oh wow you have beautiful daughters, you must be very proud!". My husband turn to her and said, "Yes, I'm very proud of them, they are my joy!". I thought that was very sweet of her to say that. But it was nice to also hear my husbands thoughts too. For a moment he actually felt like a Dad. He could stop smiling after that compliment. So back to the movie. There were a lot of dropped jaws, oohs and ahhs, some sniffles and giggles throughout the movie. Finally it was done and they couldnt wait to discuss it with us and share their thoughts. Lets just say this movie was a hit to them. They liked it and really enjoy every moment. I was very happy that they liked it. Now it was that time to take them home....which was one of the sour part of their evening. Hehehe It never seems to amaze me every time this happens. Since they were little they would always be sad or numbed bumbed out that their fun has to end. But I told them we will come back and have another fun night out. We dropped them at home and headed back to Salt Lake. On our way home, I receive a text from Talia and Jayjay thanking us for a fun night. My heart melt and was over joyed to get those messages. Thank you girls for spending time with Me and uncle Mika. We love you and we enjoy seeing y'all smile and have a wonderful time with us. Until next time!!

Hello family! Can you believe Ive been out for 5 months! Well my 5 month mark is actually tomorrow! Ahhh time is going by wayy too fast! My week has been AWESOME! SO many miracles! Sister Merrick and I have been staying warm! We've been getting a good work out riding our bikes everywhere! Its been really fun! We've realized that its all about your attitude. We decided that even though we both hate the cold and that it sucks riding on a bike in a skirt, that we are going to make the best out of it! The change in our attitudes made such a difference! 

Baptismal Date with Marlene Stewart!

The Elder Missionaries met Marlene while they were riding bikes! Marlene was on her way to the Dotty's Casino when she saw them and stopped them. She asked them if they could give her a prayer because satan was with her. (She was a little drunk) They prayed with her and talked about our church. She said she would love for the missionaries to come by her house. Marlene lives in our area so the Elders told us to stop by her home. So Sister Merrick and I decided to stop by and meet her. She is an interesting character. We taught her our purpose as missionaries ( to Help others come unto Christ) and we talked about how God is our loving Heavenly Father. She told us that this is what she has been waiting for! and she wants to get baptized! We set her with a baptism date for February 3, 2018 and she said, "Can I do it any earlier?!" haha She does have a problem with smoking and drinking. So it will depend on if she is able to quit. She said she will do everything it takes to get baptized! 

We invited her to church yesterday and she came all 3 hours!! She took a smoke break in between the classes and she smelt like alcohol but thats okay! She was in the right place!! 

Kathy Chavis!

Kathy is our new investigator this week! Her husband is a less active member but she is not. We were able to share the Light The World video with her and she loved it! She said we can come have dinner with her sometime! We are excited to go back and teach her more!

Book Of Mormon Study

I LOVE reading in the Book of Mormon! I started when I came here to Spring Creek and I just finished it! Its like Ive never read it before! But now I started over and now I am in 2 Nephi! Is there such thing as being addicted to reading the Book Of Mormon??? lol I try to find every opportunity to read for the Book Of Mormon! I love all the new things I am learning!  I have a whole bunch of study guides to help me better understand what Im reading too(thanks Jay and Mika) I just got done studying some of the Isaiah Chapters! Some of it is starting to kinda make sense! haha 

But Anyways...I hope you all have a great Christmas! I am excited to skype and see you all on Christmas! I will be spending Christmas with my Bishop and his family!
